I’m a represented and optioned writer. Amongst my successes, I list being one of nine Athena List finalists, an Academy Nicholl semi-finalist, one of ten considered for a Vertigo Entertainment Award and Austin Film Festival semi-finalist as well as being included in the ‘Blood List’ as a winner of the New Blood competition.

I was one of four writers from around the world invited by the Black List and Athena Film Festival to take part in a writers’ lab in New York, where I received training with four US Industry mentors and Scott Myers. I was also one of six writers selected for TV crime series writers’ room training with screenwriter, Barbara Machin at LSF.

Selected for a BBC Master class and BFI/Creative Skillset Talent Campus, I’ve received additional UK Industry level mentorship and training, I was awarded a bursary to complete John Yorke’s Professional Writers Academy course. I’ve produced two short films from my five competition winning short screenplays and I’ve had four pieces of prose writing published.

Before concentrating on my writing full time, I trained as a photographer, working and teaching on visual projects and helping to write, film and edit animated and live action films. I then enjoyed a career in the Royal Navy, completing a short screenwriting course at the NFTS after I left.
