Mark Renshaw // My Story from Singularity50 is Automatic Drive

Mark, lives, writes and produces in the north-west of the United Kingdom, slap bang in the Twilight Zone between Manchester and Liverpool. His Singularity50 story, ‘Automatic Drive’ is the third short story to be published recently.  The other two, 'Fear' and 'No Title' were published in 'An Eclectic Mix Vol 7' alongside several international competition winners.

With his script writing and producing hat on, Mark has written and produced three award-winning short films in transatlantic collaborations. His first film, 'No More Tomorrows' is available now available on Amazon Prime. His second film, 'Surrender' has enjoyed has a successful run on the independent film festival circuit and won several awards. His latest, a Sci-Fi short called 'The Survivor: A Tale From The Nearscape' has already won 'Best Sci-Fi' at the Top Shorts and Festigious film festivals. He is currently working on developing it into a TV series.

Mark has also helped produce a web TV series called 'So Dark' which has been a commercial success on Amazon Prime.

When Mark isn't writing, producing and being generally a modest creative genius, he works as a business software tester. This basically involves getting paid to destroy expensive computer systems.

If you want to see Mark in action in his very first movie, search for 'I Am Peter Cushing' on Youtube. This was a film Mark wrote and starred in back before he realised he was not made to be an actor! Mark plays as a delusional man who believes he is the infamous vampire killer, Peter Cushing and everyone he meets, potentially, is a vampire! This short film won the Delta award at the Festival of Fantastic Films in Manchester in 2002.
