I’ve searched for that truth all my life, wherever I have lived. First as a journalist on two continents, then a novelist, writing historical mysteries, a short story writer and screenwriter. I don’t always find the truth, but I keep on looking, in every genre and topic that catches my fancy. And no matter what, even if all I find is the lie, it’s one hell of a trip to get there. And a great excuse to spend my time writing, watching films and eating chocolate.
