    Chris Jone (Thursday, 17 August 2017 11:25)

@adrian, artists are usually poor judges of their own best and least good work. Audiences get to make that choice. And it's all subjective anyway. Your story may have been very similar to another too. Remember we are building a book that will need to be different stories.

  • #38

    Diann Beck (Thursday, 17 August 2017 21:23)

Congrats to everyone who submitted a story and a special well done to folks who made the short list!

It is not very clear how you can re-submit your latest Draft? There is no re-submit button. Logging in to the site does not give you any options.

Login and hit the red Submit button at the top right of the site.

Yes Phil you can still upload

  • #43

    Yvetta Douarin (Monday, 18 September 2017 09:57)

Hi!I was wondering if it is not too late to submit the re-write.

  • #44

    Chris Jones (Monday, 18 September 2017 13:33)

    No not too late

  • #45

    Howard Ellison (Friday, 22 September 2017 13:26)

It's fascinating, though not truly surprising, that such diverse tales bring out the noughties zeitgeist.
You can sense concern, occasionally optimism, about machine intelligence starting to run the show - making a good or bad job of it, as we mere humans do.
At the moment, it's still in our culpable hands. But if chips try to write stories, or judge them...

  • #46

    brian friefeld (Monday, 09 October 2017 20:48)

Very cool to be a part of this process. Congratulations!

  • #47

    Patrick Ryder (Friday, 13 October 2017 18:38)

Over the moon to be on the second shortlist for 'Singularity 50'!

The feedback I received has definitely helped me improve my story and my writing in general. That's what makes this the best writing competition I have ever discovered! Even if you don't win, you still win!

  • #48

    Tom Nolan (Wednesday, 08 November 2017 12:45)

I'm confused by Patrick's mention of a second shortlist for Singularity 50. I've heard nothing since the original announcement. What is the current situation on 8 November 2017?

  • #49

    Chris Jones (Thursday, 09 November 2017 10:11)

The list above is the only Shortlist, so if you are on it, you are shortlisted.
